The Mayflower This design requires 7 sections. However, most sections are quite simple and with a little care, the block should sew together easily. For the ship, choose 3 shades of brown and use the lightest as the center stripe. Choose white on white, or white on muslin for the sails. A slightly different fabric for the jib overlaying the two mainsails (Piece B3) will help it stand out a bit more.
