NOTE: In sections A and C, the seam for patches A8 and C8 is sewn between
the two asterisks (*) ONLY. To make the "corner" of the petal, fold the
outer raw edge of the patch at an angle before folding over the sewn edge.
The fold should follow the line of the petal from the asterisk to the outer
edge (hold up to light source to verify before pressing). The folded edge
can be left as is, slip-stitched later, or secured during quilting.
